Located just a few minutes away from the Strip, this fully renovated hotel and casino offers all the modern conveniences you expect, including large size rooms, new furnishings, and large flat-screen TVs. Unfortunately, Palace Station also charges a $40 daily resort fee for the amenities it provides. On the plus side, it is one of the few hotels in the ares that provides a free shuttle to the airport.
Palace Station has 576 hotel rooms with a state-of-the-art bingo center, several onsite restaurants, an outdoor pool, a fitness center, and a spa. The Irish pub regularly features live music and has a decent menu.
At the moment, Palace Station is offering low rates of $60 a night but add in the $40 resort fee and the total cost is $100. Besides the resort fee, the one other negative of the hotel is that it can get a bit smokey inside. Palace Station is not a bad place to stay if you like to gamble and want to save money, but you'll need to hop on a bus or take a short Uber ride to get the Strip. On the plus side, you save money getting to and from the airport for free.
