4. Lost Creek Falls in the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area

Located a short drive away from Las Vegas, Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is a great hiking destination. It features several eccentric rock formations, sandstone peaks, and a number of trails. One of the trails within the park leads to a rare desert waterfall. This trail starts at the Lost Creek parking area, then through a thick bush and over some bridges before winding-up in an isolated slot canyon.
