Poolside Concerts Return to Southwest Vegas
Living out here in the southwest valley, I‘ve watched Durango Casino & Resort become a real neighborhood hub since it opened. Now they’re bringing back something that made last year pretty special - the Poolside Concert Series at Bel-Aire Backyard. After seeing how packed and energetic those shows were in 2025, I‘m honestly excited they’re doing it again.
The lineup they've announced so far looks solid: Scotty McCreery kicks things off April 10, followed by Jackson Dean on April 17, J Boog on April 20, and Thievery Corporation wrapping up the announced dates on May 31. These aren‘t your typical Vegas lounge acts - we’re talking nationally touring artists in an intimate setting that holds about 1,600 people.
What Makes This Different from Strip Shows
Here‘s what I love about this series - it’s everything the Strip isn‘t. Free parking (hallelujah!), no crowds of tourists stumbling around, and you can actually get to your car without walking through a casino maze for twenty minutes. Andy Masi from Clique Hospitality hit the nail on the head when he said they’re bringing “Strip-caliber artists to the local market” in a setting that‘s “comfortable, intimate and approachable.”
The venue transforms their outdoor pool area into a proper concert space. They close the pool at 4 p.m. on show days, doors open at 7 p.m., and music starts at 8 p.m. Last year’s inaugural season sold out multiple shows, which tells you locals were hungry for exactly this kind of experience. Artists like The Fray, Dashboard Confessional, and Iron & Wine proved this concept works beautifully.
Getting Your Tickets and Upgrades
Presales start Monday, February 2 at 10 a.m. for various groups - artist fan clubs, AEG Presents members, Station Casinos loyalty members, and Clique Hospitality VIPs get first crack. General public sales begin Friday, February 6 at the same time. You can snag tickets at belairebackyardlv.com.
If you want to go all out, the premium cabanas are worth considering if you're planning a special night. Each cabana includes 10 tickets, plush seating, a flat-screen TV, and a refrigerator stocked with soft drinks. You get VIP standing area access, a dedicated host, misters, and a personal ceiling fan - basically everything you need to stay comfortable during our desert evenings.

As someone who‘s tired of fighting Strip traffic and paying ridiculous parking fees just to see live music, this series feels like a gift to those of us who actually live here. It’s nice having quality entertainment right in our own backyard - literally.
