Gothy sounds from two-bands-in-one, edamame dumplings from NYC’s Chinatown, and eye-catching felt marker illustrations at a downtown Vegas gallery—my latest “mixtape” is reliably all over the place. Now add in some heavenly shrimp and grits at an Arts District restaurant and New York steak at an under-the-radar Peruvian spot, and you realize that life in Vegas is good, especially when it’s wildly eclectic.
