Harry Reid Airport Opens Pop-Up Marriage License Bureau 2026

Harry Reid Airport Opens Pop-Up Marriage License Bureau 2026

Love Takes Flight at Harry Reid International

Valentine's Day is landing on a Saturday this year, and Vegas is about to get absolutely crazy with couples looking to tie the knot. Starting tomorrow, February 4th, there's going to be a pop-up Marriage License Bureau right at Harry Reid International Airport that'll run through Presidents Day on February 16th. Clark County Clerk Lynn Marie Goya teamed up with the airport to make this happen, and honestly, it's genius timing.

The setup is over at Terminal 1 baggage claim across from carousel 15, open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. every single day. They‘re handling both marriage licenses and vow renewal certificates, but heads up - it’s credit or debit cards only. No cash, no problem though, because who carries cash to the airport anyway?

February's Magic Wedding Dates

This February is absolutely loaded with couples wanting memorable wedding dates. Obviously Valentine's Day (2/14/26) is going to be insane, but there are also these “magic dates” happening with 2/6/26 and 2/26/26 that people are going crazy for. And get this - Friday the Thirteenth (2/13/26) is actually becoming a thing for couples who want something totally unique.

Vegas has been calling February “Wedding Month” since 2022 when Clark County hit their 5-millionth marriage license. Two days later on 2/22/22 (that “twosday” everyone was obsessing over), 2,341 couples got married in a single day. Valentine's Days make up 12 of the 20 most popular wedding dates in Vegas history, so this February is going to be absolutely bonkers.

Airport Convenience Meets Vegas Romance

“Sweethearts love the convenience of the pop-up Marriage License Bureau at Harry Reid International Airport,” Goya explained. “Love is always in the air during the month of February, and our deputy clerks look forward to serving this special clientele.”

James C. Chrisley, the airport‘s director of aviation, pointed out how this fits perfectly with Vegas being the ultimate destination. “The pop-up Marriage License Bureau is a fun and convenient way for those visiting the Wedding Capital of the World to tie the knot,” he said.

For anyone who can’t make it to the airport pop-up, the main Clark County Marriage License Bureau downtown stays open 365 days a year with regular hours 8 a.m. to midnight.

Vegas Wedding Capital Status

With over five million weddings and counting, Vegas absolutely owns the title of Wedding Capital of the World. The city does more weddings per 1,000 people than anywhere else on the planet, and it‘s been that way for over a century. Whether you’re doing a spontaneous chapel ceremony or going all out at a Strip resort, Vegas delivers every type of wedding experience imaginable.

This airport pop-up is just another example of how the city adapts to make getting married as easy as possible. When you can literally get your marriage license between flights, that's peak Vegas convenience right there.
