Mötley Crüe Returns to Sin City: From Casino Chaos to Charity Champions
Remember when Mötley Crüe's idea of a Vegas residency meant seeing how many Strip security guards they could outrun in one night? Well, times have changed – sort of. The bad boys of glam metal are returning to Park MGM's Dolby Live for their third Vegas residency, and while they might have traded their police record for philanthropy, don't expect these shows to be anything less than pure, uncut Crüe mayhem. Starting March 28, 2025, Nikki Sixx and company will unleash 11 shows that promise to remind everyone why Vegas and Mötley Crüe go together like shotgun weddings and morning-after regrets. Speaking of weddings, let's not forget this is the city where Vince Neil once had MC Hammer (yes, that MC Hammer) officiate his fourth trip down the aisle. Because nothing says true love quite like having the "U Can't Touch This" guy pronounce you man and wife at the Four Seasons.
But Vegas isn't just the site of Neil's matrimonial adventures – it's been the backdrop for some of the band's most colorful moments. Like that time Neil allegedly got into a hair-pulling incident with a fan who was trying to get... Nicolas Cage's autograph. (Plot twist: Cage was there, and so was Carrot Top, because Vegas.) Or the numerous occasions when Neil's Lamborghini became intimately acquainted with local law enforcement. The Strip has seen more Crüe chaos than a backstage area at the MTV Video Music Awards circa 1989.
Now, in a redemption arc worthy of a sequel to The Dirt, the band is channeling some of their ticket proceeds to benefit the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth. From trashing Strip hotel rooms to helping kids find rooms of their own – that's what we call character development.
